Kurt was born and raised on a ranch
in Bonners Ferry, Idaho - just north
of Sandpoint. While growing up, Kurt
was very involved with school sports
but preferred activities in the
great outdoors. Alpine skiing, water
skiing, hiking, boating, swimming,
fishing and camping (to name a few
favorites) occupied most of his
spare time.
Kurt worked as a mechanic, on a
Bison ranch, and at a graphics
company before taking a job as a
wild-land firefighter for the U.S.
Forest Service. He spent his next 5
summers fighting forest fires and
his winters snowmobiling, skiing and
attending college in Coeur d'Alene,
Idaho as well as in Lewiston,
earning a degree in science.
Eventually he turned his focus to
Real Estate school.
Kurt chose RiverStone Real Estate in
Sandpoint because of the warm
friendly atmosphere, professionalism
and huge web exposure; he has been
working there ever since.
Kurt recently earned his Broker’s
License and his G.R.I. (Graduate
Realtor Institute) designation.
Kurt married his wife Jennie in 2005
and they had their first baby,
Claire, in August of 2006. They love
the Inland Northwest, but are
particularly fond of North Idaho
because of the four distinct seasons
and all the recreational
opportunities that exist. They
consider themselves very lucky to be
able to live in a place where most
people only get to vacation.
Kurt has extensive experience
helping clients buy and sell New
Construction, Waterfront Homes and
Lots, Single and Multi-family homes,
Condos and Ranches. His excitement
about where he lives and works,
spills over into his business where
he enthusiastically helps his
clients find their perfect property
or sell their home. |
