I was born and raised in Sandpoint and graduated from high school in 1975. After high school I went to Montana State University in Bozeman and graduated with a degree in Business Management. Right after graduation my wife, Connie and I moved to Spokane to start our careers and raise a family. We still wanted to be part of the Sandpoint experience, so I built a cabin north of Sandpoint. The cabin gave us a great weekend get away from the city and it allowed us to be closer to our families. Every time we crossed the long bridge, I was home again. We moved back to Sandpoint in 1997 to finally be home and give our two boys the experience that Connie and I had growing up. I like to boat and spend time on Lake Pend Oreille, hike the Selkirk and Cabinet mountains and snowmobile the high country in the winter.
I bring a lot of experience to the field of real estate. My first job out of college was with a finance company making real estate equity loans. I stayed in that position for six years and gained valuable finance experience. I then went into title insurance as a Title Officer for twenty five years. Being a Title Officer taught me that each transaction is different, with a unique set of problems to work through with clients. I know Bonner County very well. I also know how to solve or deal with problems and road blocks that can come with most properties. I can help sellers get their property ready to market, get the best possible agreement, and help buyers through the sometimes complex maze of problems of buying real estate.
